wearing apparel
As generally used in statutes, refers not merely to a person's outer clothing, but covers all articles usually worn, and includes underclothing. Arnold v. U. S., 147 U.S. 494, 13 S.Ct. 406, 37 L.Ed. 253.
All articles of dress generally worn by persons in the calling and condition of life and in the locality of the person in question. In re Steimes' Estate, 150 Misc. 279, 270 N.Y.S. 339.
